We've Got Spirit!

Last weeks highlights were CHEER CAMP and the pep rally. The girls had a great time at cheer camp. I must have been asked 100 times: When is cheer camp? We also attended our first pep rally and all the kids said it was awesome. We will be attending the junior high pep rallies because they are at 12:15. We are getting out of school during the high school pep rallies. As usual, we had a very busy week. We did a short unit on monsters. We read the book Go Away Big Green Monster and then we made our very own big green monsters. The kids also created a monster glyph based on their favorite color, their age, and which monster book they liked best. We had lots of fun talking about monsters and making them!

Mrs. Tammie is back!!!! YAY!!!! Her husband is doing well. Thanks for all your prayers.

We are now studying dinosaurs. My dogs were out in the yard and discovered a giant egg. I brought it to school and had the kids try and guess what was inside of it. There were several interesting guesses. When the kids came back from recess, they discovered the egg had hatched and a baby dinosaur was inside. They are loving the dinosaur unit.
